Final Thoughts

I would love to use this website in my classroom. The only downside I have found in this game is that you need to log in every time you go on the website. This would be hard if you have to log students on every time. However, when you do log in and start using the game you can chose from many different games. I think this is also a great resource for parents to use if they think their child needs extra practice. I feel confident that students could be directed to go on this website and be able to play any game they wanted.

This is also a great resource for teachers if they want to find new worksheets or lesson plans for students. I think if there was no log in that would be best for the website. Every game has directions under it to help move the process along with the learning aspect of the games.

I think integrating play into the classroom setting helps students stay engaged. I rarely see teachers telling students to go play a game. This is a change of pace from the usual writing and reading. I would say these games are not drill and practice. If you do not pass it lets you reset the game. Then when you get the correct answer and pass a level it just levels you up.

Despite having to log in every time, I think it this website would be a great resource to use in the classroom and at home if you knew that your students would have access to technology at home! I think the extra practice would benefit all of your students and challenge them to make connections
